St Jude's United Church
SUNDAY 25th April
8.00am Holy Communion in Church
9.30am Pre-recorded YouTube Service
The Annual Parochial Church Meeting and Vestry Meeting (where we elect churchwardens — currently Diana Bendall and Claudia Tubb) will take place on Sunday 25th April at 11.30am. You are warmly invited to attend.
The meeting will largely take place digitally, via Zoom. To take part, please ensure that we have your email address and an invitation, with a digital link, will be sent to you nearer the time. We shall be able to invite a small number of participants who do not have access to Zoom, to join us in person within the church. Again, please let us know if you would like to do that. Thank you all!
The APCM is where we receive the revised Electoral Roll and the Annual Report and Accounts and elect four members of the Church Council.
If you would like your name to be added to the Church Electoral Roll, please email for an application form. Please note that this is nothing to do with the local authority Register of Electors.
Please look for further announcements on our website and Facebook page or via notices displayed outside St Jude’s. Please stay safe and well. May God bless and watch over you all.
Please visit our YouTube channel here and subscribe so you will be notified of new new services and other content.

Culture Recovery Fund
St Jude’s Church Englefield Green has received a grant of up to £18300: £3700 for specific items involved in reopening completely – including display and publicity materials – and up to £14600 to recover, from the Government’s £1.57 billion Culture Recovery Fund.
Our local MP, Dr Ben Spencer, visited St Jude’s last week to hear about it. We will put more details here soon.
St Jude's Church has been at the heart of Englefield Green for over 150 years. The Parish is part of the Diocese of Guildford and falls under the Deanery of Runnymede.
As a 'Local Ecumenical Partnership' (LEP) between the Church of England and the Methodist Church, St Jude's became St Jude's United Church and has a joint Anglican and Methodist heritage. We therefore offer a diverse programme of worship activities to suit all ages, tastes and needs.
St Jude’s United Church is committed to safeguarding all those who attend this church, a copy of the Diocesan safeguarding policy can be found here. Further information about how to report a safeguarding concern or incident can be found here.
The church is also fortunate to have two separate church halls (The Village Centre in Victoria Street and the Church Hall in Bond Street), and the Monsell Room (a separate meeting/function room attached to the church). Please contact us if you would like to enquire about booking one of these facilities.
Further information about the Village Centre facilities and opening hours can be found here.T
