St Jude's United Church
CORONAVIRUS UPDATE - watch this space - see below
By the time you read this most of you may already know that the Archbishops of Canterbury and York have announced the suspension of all public worship in the Church of England for the time being.
This suspension will take place with immediate effect which means that we shall sadly have to cancel all our regular services. Please follow our Facebook page and regularly check this website for updates.
During this time of uncertainty and challenge we at St Jude's are still holding weekly services for our community and the wider world through our YouTube channel.
Please visit it and subscribe so you will be notified of new content. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCU_BcMnFpfC4PvBe0mqRp4Q
Each day of Holy Week we hope to provide something to encourage our walk and worship. We begin tomorrow, Palm Sunday, with a short service led by The Revd Andrew Reed, which Guy Bunce is again generously producing for us on our You Tube channel. Monday to Wednesday, we maintain our usual pattern of Compline, led for us each evening by The Revd Orion Edgar, Chaplain to Royal Holloway College, and again available on You Tube. Please watch for details of services later in the week.
With the new Government and Diocese regulations, Judith will no longer be in church at the normal service times.
Please continue to pray with us. Please also continue to support the local foodbank, for which we are a collection point.
Let us know if there is any help we can offer you.

The next concert
Saturday 4 April
St Jude's Church has been at the heart of Englefield Green for over 150 years. The Parish is part of the Diocese of Guildford and falls under the Deanery of Runnymede.
As a 'Local Ecumenical Partnership' (LEP) between the Church of England and the Methodist Church, St Jude's became St Jude's United Church and has a joint Anglican and Methodist heritage. We therefore offer a diverse programme of worship activities to suit all ages, tastes and needs.
St Jude’s United Church is committed to safeguarding all those who attend this church, a copy of the Diocesan safeguarding policy can be found here. Further information about how to report a safeguarding concern or incident can be found here.
The church is also fortunate to have two separate church halls (The Village Centre in Victoria Street and the Church Hall in Bond Street), and the Monsell Room (a separate meeting/function room attached to the church). Please contact us if you would like to enquire about booking one of these facilities.
Further information about the Village Centre facilities and opening hours can be found here.T
