Baptism marks a new start to following Jesus within the family of the Church and becoming a member of God’s family. We are declaring that we are putting our trust in Jesus and choosing to live as a Christian.
For infants, baptism (sometimes known as Christening) it is the start of the child’s journey into the Christian faith. You and your chosen godparents will be making promises on behalf of your child.

When do baptisms take place?
Baptisms take place on Sundays, and a potential date will be discussed with you when you meet with the Vicar to talk about the service.
