Englefield Green Urban Saints (formerly Crusaders)

We are a group of 7 to 12 year olds who meet each Monday evening from 6.15 to 7.45 in the Methodist Church Hall, Victoria Street for games, Bible exploration and refreshments.  We also have occasional other activities such as trips and a camp with other Surrey groups.  For further details ring Rita on 01784 433560 or Andrew on 01784 436576.

‘Junior Church’ is exactly what it says – Church for the junior members of our congregation.

Junior Church welcomes children from ages 3 to 11, to spend time together during the 9.30am Sunday Service. On most Sundays, we leave the service during the first hymn and re-join for the second part of the Eucharist.

The emphasis is always on fun and activity and teaching can include discussion, games, music, drama, model making, craft, art, word-searches and puzzles. We aim to help the children gain an understanding of Bible stories and Christian values, and how they apply to modern life.

Our activities are usually themed around the Christian calendar, with extra activities for key dates and seasons, examples include decorating the Easter Garden and Church window sills at Harvest time and a special children’s Crib Service at Christmas.
