Bright Hour

The Bright Hour is a midweek meeting which happens twice a month in the Village Centre, Victoria Street or in a member's home. At present it is only attended by ladies (though gentlemen are welcome too - come, and bring a friend!). It is always on a Tuesday at 3pm with informal prayers, singing, a talk sometimes by a visiting speaker, friendly chat and refreshments. It finishes around 4.15pm. Bright Hour has been a name given to ladies' meetings since time immemorial. People have told me the group is similar to Mothers' Union. If anyone can think of a better name, come along, and suggest it to us! You are welcome!
